Is parking free? Yes, we love being at a convenient downtown historic location and still be able to offer free parking. You may park on the street or directly behind our building - just take the alley-way behind the building to locate the parking lot.
Do I have to pay for a consultation? Absolutely not. We want you to take a "Studio Tour", meet your Artist, and see what we are about before deciding to entrust your image to us. Our consultation and tours are 30 minutes.
What happens if I just can't make my appointment? The salon business is an appointment-based business. We understand that sometimes your schedule will change unexpectedly. We ask that you give us 24-hour notice if you must cancel or reschedule a reservation. This allows us the opportunity to contact guests on our waiting list. No-Shows will be rebooked at the discretion of management. We would prefer that you reschedule an appointment, rather that just not showing up.
What happens if I am running late? We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. Calling ahead gives us the best opportunity to evaluate the situation. However, calling ahead does not always guarantee that we will be able to provide service, especially if your arrival is later than 15 minutes.
What is the easiest way for me to make an appointment? To accommodate your scheduling needs, we strongly recommend that you reserve your next appointment before leaving the salon. This is the best way to ensure the time and date most convenient for your next visit. If at any time you feel you would be more comfortable or better served by another member of our team, please let us know. You may phone or email for a current reservation time.
What type of payment methods do you take? MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, cash and checks. We also accept Apple Pay and Android Pay.
Do you sell any of my private information you have on your Client Profile? Studio BBC is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients. We will use any information supplied by you only for internal purposes. We will not sell or provide any information about you to any third parties unless required to do so in completing your credit card purchase.
Are children welcome? Yes! We provide wonderful and fun hair cuts for kiddos. Although, due to risk of accidents and liabilities, Studio BBC requests children visit by appointment only.
Can I bring friends/family with me to my appointment? Due to limited space we ask that you arrive alone for your appointment. Kick back and enjoy some "me time"!
Do I tip the Artist? If so how much? Tip means "To Insure Promptness". If the Artist provides prompt, caring and great work, a gratuity may be added as appreciation. A 15%+ tip is considered grateful.
When are you open? Our Artists carry their own schedule so they can meet their individual client's needs. Please contact your specific Artist on their direct line or call the Studio Line.
Are you taking any new clients? Yes! Referrals are the best compliment given, so we thank you as you refer our Studio & Artists. If you Refer THREE people who come into the salon, then we thank you by with 50% off your next hair cut plus your referral will receive $10 off their first service with Studio BBC. We appreciate you talking about us!
What happens if I accidentally have a NSF check returned? We understand when accidents happen at the bank. Unfortunately, we, as a business, are charged fees when these incidents occur. A $25 return check fee is applied to the total cost of the check and we thank you for your prompt attention in the matter.
What if I am unhappy with my service? You have 48 hours from your original appointment date/time to contact us. We’d love the opportunity to discuss what we can do to ensure you are happy with any service we provide.
Cell phone use policy In order to create the most relaxing experience for all of our guests, we kindly ask that you turn your cell phone on vibrate when you arrive. We also ask that you do not take any phone calls while relaxing at BBC. We guarantee to entertain you with the antics of our eclectic staff and killer house curated playlists. But If you plan on listening to any music or watching any videos on your mobile device, we request you bring a pair of headphones, as to not disturb any other guests.
