caught the hair dressing “bug” as a child
watching her mom and aunts get their hair done at the
beauty salon in New York. It was no surprise that she
decided to become a beauty professional, and start studying
at the Aveda Institute of Atlanta. There she learned
the basics of cutting, coloring and applying relaxers
and perms. She started her career in Nashville, working
under a well respected hair dresser and learned various
cutting and coloring techniques that enabled her to
become a strong stylist. For Fatimah education is key,
which is why she attends advanced classes. Fatimah takes
pride in having the ability to style all types of hair
textures.
Susanah Lambert
Five years ago, at the start of her career, Susanah set three goals for herself: to continuously improve in both skill and knowledge of her craft, to build unique and intuitive relationships with her guests, and to truly have fun doing it. "Designing a tailored look for each guest, that reflects their own unique personality." That is what Susanah says sets her apart from the rest.
She has acquired extensive precision cutting education from the top institute Toni and Guy. She has also obtained a freeform continuing education from AVEDA, entailing artistry in cut, color and makeup.
Susanah has enjoyed opportunities working with Mercy Ministries, a non profit organization doing print work. She genuinely loves helping others recognize their true beauty from the inside out.

Sara Wilson
Sara began her career in 2005 at the suggestion of a friend who was already in the business. These days, she lives by the mantra "Do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life". Her passion for hair has led her to the realization that education is everything. She began her training in Knoxville, TN at TN School of Beauty, a Pivot Point Training School. Since then, she has undergone rigorous training with Aveda continuing education, and even traveled to New York to study at the Toni & Guy Advanced Academy.
Kip Abernathy
A seasoned stylist for more than seven years, Kip Abernathy is committed to fine-tuning his craft and keeping his styling fresh. Known and loved for his playful spirit and perfect hair color skills, Kip has worked with both Redken and Aveda and specializes in natural Sunkist highlights and peek-a-boo colors. Kip is also a master of the most in-demand hair styles, and loves creating art with short female cuts.
Kip's experience ranges from styling runway shows to designing unique looks for his dedicated clientele. He prides himself on his ability to create an "at-home" silky smooth finishes every day. Kip is a native Tennessean who has lived in both Knoxville and Atlanta.
Brandy Marlin
With seven years experience as a stylist and make up artist, Brandy Marlin has a passion for precision haircutting, styling and exquisite color. A graduate of TN Technology Center in Nashville, Brandy is fervently in love with the beauty industry and has been since she was just a little girl.
A gifted artist, Brandy has trained with MAC and Aveda, and continues to hone her skills by regularly attending advanced classes in color technique and styling. She is currently a certified Schwarzkopf color specialist, and is on the path to become a Schwarzkopf color educator.
From session styling and special events, to proms and girls. day out, Brandy creates the perfect look for every occasion, while providing her clients with the utmost care and attention to detail.
Kyle Kressin
Kyle Kressin's dedication to his students, clients and fellow hairdressers as a teacher and an artist has lead to an extremely satisfying lifetime career. His creativity is not confined to the salon as he frequently styles for Hollywood celebs, high fashion runway models, theatrical design, and even mortuary make-up and hair styling for our "dearly departed."
Specializing in color, precision cutting and styling, Kyle loves creating beautiful looks for special occasions. He educates his clients on new trends and how to style their own hair, and provides them with helpful tips on make up, skin and hair.
Originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Kyle now calls Nashville home. Licensed in both Michigan and Tennessee, Kyle studied cosmetology at Renaissance Academy of Beauty in Escanaba, Michigan. He is an Schwarzkopf professional technical advisor and is certified to teach ASK Essential Skills Global Cutting Standard for Schwarzkopf Professionalse
Kyle's diverse resume includes working with such stars as Joyce Dewitt from "Three's Company," Richard Moll from "Night Court," music's, Brian Wilson, and Opry Star, Jeanne Seely. He's also done theatrical makeup and hair with Nashville Stages and Escanaba's Players De Noc. Kyle's broad experience and expertise rounds out the phenomenal team at Studio BBC.
Daryl Woods
Easily described as a true "renaissance man," Studio BBC's Daryl Woods, offers clients the utmost in service and attention while creating a unique look that is as individualistic as the client. He prides himself on working with clients from head to toe, inside and out ensuring that how they feel and look is consistent with the beautiful/handsome, intelligent and strong person they have always known themselves to be.
Daryl has a diverse background in cosmetology and styling, fitness and modeling, and music. He is also recognized as a Certified Redken specialist, a Certified Life Coach, and has training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
A native of Northwest Alabama, Daryl graduated from the University of North Alabama with a degree in Social Work, and received UNA's "Promising Alumni Award." In addition, he is a Charter Member of the International Positive Psychology Association and Associate Member of the Association of Image Consultants International. As a Certified Life Coach, Daryl's clients have celebrated success in radio, television and film. He has also coached young women who aspire to compete for and have held the titles of Miss America and Miss USA.

Jessica Riehm
For more than a decade, Jessica Riehm has been completely committed to keeping her clients looking their absolute best using the newest techniques and highest quality products available. Jessica is passionate about technical cutting, and specializes in designing a client.s color around their cut. She is constantly continuing her education to keep up with the latest trends so she can personalize each individual look to fit her clients. needs and personality.
A commissioned stylist who has been trained in Aveda since starting her career, Jessica comes to Nashville from Phoenix, Arizona where she is also a licensed stylist. Dedicated to developing a thriving business in both Nashville and Phoenix, Jessica commutes between the two cities bringing the best of both coasts to her clients.
Jessica attended the Classic Beauty College in Phoenix, and has experience as a stylist and salon manager in such cosmopolitan cities as Flagstaff, Prescott, and Scottsdale, Arizona. In addition, she has extensive experience styling for weddings, loves the "updo," and has been involved in various fashion shows. She prides herself on catering to the needs of her busy clientele with her flexible schedule, and strives to create an enjoyable but professional atmosphere where her clients can relax and de-stress.
Laura Vinson
With a passion for all things creative, Laura keeps her finger on the pulse of many artistic and creative outlets. She has a strong background in advanced color and cutting, and has an overwhelming passion to create unique looks to fit each individual.
A native Kentuckian, Laura graduated from Nashville's Trevecca Nazarene University with a degree in Music Business and Vocal Performance. After touring all over the country as a singer/entertainer, Laura decided to pursue yet another outlet for her creative energy and received a certification in Cosmetology.
Prior to coming on board as a Featured Artist at Studio BBC Salon, Laura received extensive training at several Nashville Salons. Laura's professional experience also includes photography and event planning.
